Start when you turn in
Tap Start Sleep at bedtime and Wake Up when you’re ready to finish. You can lock your phone or close the app between those steps.
A personal sleep journal for iPhone
Log bedtime and wake-up time, look back on your recent patterns, and keep a journal that stays on your iPhone.
For iPhone · Requires iOS 17.0 or later · English interface
Small details. A clearer record.
Slep brings your entries, daily totals, and recent history together in three straightforward tabs: Sleep, History, and Settings.
Tap Start Sleep at bedtime and Wake Up when you’re ready to finish. You can lock your phone or close the app between those steps.
Add a missed night or a nap, adjust an entry’s times, or delete a session. You can also edit the bedtime of a session still in progress.
View the combined duration of sessions ending today, including naps. Your latest completed session is also easy to revisit from the Sleep tab.
Explore a daily chart, your average on logged days, your longest session, and progress toward your personal goal. Missing entries aren’t counted as zero sleep.
Set a target from 6 to 12 hours in 30-minute steps. Goal comparisons reflect your own choice, not a medical recommendation or a sleep-quality rating.
Switch to All Sessions to see older records. The seven-day chart is a recent view of your journal, not a limit on how long entries are kept.
How it works
Open Sleep and tap Start Sleep. Slep saves the start time on your device.
Tap Wake Up to save the entry. The duration is the time between the recorded bedtime and wake-up time.
Open History for your recent chart and session list. Tap an entry to edit it, or use + to add one you missed.
You don’t need to wait overnight to add an entry. Record a past bedtime and wake-up time from History whenever you need to catch up.
Your journal stays with you
Slep’s journal works without an account. It doesn’t include advertising or analytics SDKs, and it doesn’t automatically send your sleep entries to us.
Read the privacy policyYour recorded times and sleep goal are used locally to build your journal and summaries. Slep does not connect to HealthKit or use sensors to detect sleep.
Delete individual entries, or choose Settings → Erase All Data to remove all sleep sessions and reset your goal. Your accepted terms version is retained.
If you email support, we receive what you choose to send. Visiting this website also sends connection information to our server. These are separate from your local journal.
Before you begin
A few practical details about Slep and the information it shows.
More questions? Visit SupportNo. Slep is a manual journal. It calculates durations from the times you record; it doesn’t detect when you fall asleep, measure sleep stages, record sound, or automatically subtract time spent awake.
Each completed session belongs to the day you woke up, using your phone’s current time zone. Daily totals include all sessions ending on that day. The seven-day average includes only days with entries.
“Longest Sleep” means the longest single recorded session, not your best-quality sleep. Goal comparisons use your current personal target.
Slep does not provide cloud sync, export, or a recovery service. Sleep-record files are excluded from standard device backups; preferences may be handled separately by iOS.
Deleting the app removes its local records. Offloading it may retain documents and data. We cannot recover deleted records or guarantee their transfer to another phone.
Slep is designed for iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later, with an English interface. No account or wearable device is required. Recording and reviewing your journal works offline; sending email and visiting the website require a connection.
